Body & Mind Laser Spa located in Rego Park, almost took 9 months for the construction to finish. Here are the construction pictures of how it looked before and how the spa looks now.
We celebrated xmas party with our staff on December 19th at our Whitestone location. We had a really good time. It started snowing hard at night time while we were inside celebrating.

1st performed on August 27th, 2009
“My first experience with Velashape was definately a positive one. The areas I had done were my thighs and stomach. I was extremely nervous about the possibility of pain, but the pain was tolerable. It was mild to moderate and at times all I experienced was a mild discomfort. I found if I relaxed it lessened the pain. The spots where there is more fat and cellulite appear to be a bit more painful. I do not have a high tolerance for pain and I did find the pain to be very tolerable. As for the results, I lost at least half an inch from each area treated. I can also see some smoothing and tightness. Ther is some brusing on my stomach, but no pain, just a little tenderness.”
2nd treatment performed on September 4th, 2009
“I have now completed my second Velashape treatment. The results are visible. I have lost an additional half inch from each thigh and my stomach. My skin is firmer and more toned and the cellulite is greatly decreased. I had less bruising from my second treatment than from my first. I experienced mild to moderate pain on the stomach area and for the most part only discomfort and mild pain on the thighs. The pain was less during the second treatment, than during the first.”
3rd treatment performed on September 11th, 2009
“I have now had my third Vela Shape treatment. Due to some brusing on my stomach she concentrated on my waist and thighs. My waist definately tightened up and my thighs continue to improve. The pain on my waist and thighs was minimal and the results are noticeable.”
4th treament performed on September 18th, 2009
“After my fourth treatment my clothes are fitting looser, my skin is tighter, I have lost an inch to and inch and a half in all areas and my cellulite is greatly reduced. I expereince moderate pain in the stomach area and minimal pain in the thighs. Brusing continues in the stomach area, but the bruises are not painful, just a bit sensitive and they disappear 
within a week.”
5th treatment performed on September 29th, 2009
“After completing five treatments my thighs are much firmer and smoother. My cellulite has decreased and is now minimal. My stomach is flatter and more toned. There is still some discomfort and mild pain during the treatment of the stomach area. Treatment of the thighs creates minimal discomfort.”
6th treatment performed on October 9th, 2009
“I have completed my series of six Vela Shape treatments on my stomach and thighs. I am very pleased with the results. I lost between one and one and a half inches in each area. My skin is tighter, smoother and more well toned. The cellulite in my thighs is greatly reduced and now minimal. I plan to continue with maintenance treatments and watch my diet and hope to further enhance my already good results.”
Post Treatment (7th & 8th treatment)
“It is now almost two months since I completed my Vela Shape series of six treatments. I have also now had two maintenance treatments. The results have not only stayed, but have been enhanced during the past two months. I have continued to watch my diet and had maintenance treatments at the recommmended intervals. I felt much less pain during the mainenaance treatments. Overall I am very satisfied with the results and plan to continue the maintenance treatments as recommended.”
